I received a gift of homemade “Bokbunja wine(Bokbunja ju)”.

Bokbunja is the Korean name for black raspberries (Rubus coreanus). And “ju” means alcohol literally.

I enjoyed Bokbunja wine I got as a gift with Kimchi Jeon.

Kimchi jeon is a delightful dish that combines the pungent and flavorful taste of kimchi with the crispy texture of the batter.

Koreans have enjoyed Kimchi Jeon as a side dish (banchan) or as a snack with a drink. Especially Kimchi jeon is a side dish that goes well with any alcohol.
