한국식 식초가 첨가된 초간단 가지 무침(Korean eggplant dish with vinegar for vegetarians)

Here’s a recipe for my daughter’s favorite side dish, Korean eggplant dish for vegetarians.

In particular, I will make a Korean-style eggplant seasoned side dish with fresh eggplants harvested from my own farming field.

특별히 제가 농사 지은 밭에서 수확한 싱싱한 가지로한국식 가지 무침 반찬을 만들도록 하겠습니다.

한국식 가지 무침 반찬에는 동물성 재료가 하나도 들어가지 않아 채식주의자들에게도 아주 알맞은 음식이죠~

This dish do not contain any animal ingredients, so it’s a very suitable dish for vegetarians.

저는 가치 무침 요리를 할 때 식초를 넣어서 무치는데, 미국에 살고 있는 제 딸이 식초가 들어간 가지 무침을 미국 내에서 아무리 찾아도 찾을 수가 없어 사 먹는 걸 포기했다고 하더라구여~

My daughter, who lives in the United States, said she gives up buying seasoned eggplant dish with vinegar. Because she couldn’t find it in the United States.

그래서 제가 저만의 식초가 가미된 가치 요리 방법을 자세히 남겨서 전달하려고 합니다~

That’s why I’m going to deliver my own Korean eggplant dish recipe in detail.




Ingredients:

  • 1 medium-sized eggplants (choose firm and glossy one / about 130g)
  • 1/2 teaspoon white vinegar
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil(or any vegetable oil / optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1-2 teaspoon red chili pepper powder(optional, for spiciness)
  • 1/8 teaspoon black peppercorns(optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon chopped green onion(optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon whole sesame

Instructions:

  1. Wash the eggplants thoroughly and cut off the stems. Then, cut the eggplants into thin slices or strips.
  2. Put the cut eggplant in the microwave(700w standard), and heat it  for about 3 minutes.
  3. Mix: mix the ingredients(1/8 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic, 1-2 teaspoon red chili pepper powder, 1/8 teaspoon black peppercorns, 1 teaspoon sesame oil and step 3 eggplants. White vinegar(1/2 teaspoon) is mixed in at the end.
  4. Sprinkle chopped green onion according to your taste on step 3_finished dish.
  5. Seal the jar or container and refrigerate the eggplants dish.
  6. Enjoy them as a tangy and flavorful side dish or as a topping for sandwiches, salads, or any other dishes you like.

Easy Recipe

Korean-style eggplant dish can be made very simply and quickly using only a microwave.

한국식 가지 무침 반찬은 전자레인지만을 활용해서  아주 간편하고 빠르게 만들 수 있는 요리입니다~

It is a very suitable food for vegetarians as it does not contain any animal ingredients. And it can whet your appetite when you have no appetite because of the sour taste with vinegar.

동물성 재료가 하나도 들어가지 않아 채식주의자들에게도 아주 알맞은 음식이고 식초가 들어가 새콤한 맛 때문에 입맛이 없을 때 먹으면 식욕을 돋궈 줄 수 있는 좋은 음식이죠~
